I had a lot of fun thinking about and developing my logo.  You may ask why I chose to identify with a dragonfly.  There are a few reasons why I chose this as my logo identifier.  First off I am amazed by the intricacies of this tiny little creature.  This is what I learned when I was doing research on Dragonfly as a Spirit Animal.  Basically, the dragonfly signifies:

  • Change and transformation
  • Adaptability
  • Joy, lightness of being
  • Symbol of the realm of emotions, invitation to dive deeper into your feeling
  • Being on the lookout for illusions and deceits, whether external or personal
  • Connection with nature’s spirits, fairies realms

To Asian cultures, this transformation also has a similar deeper meaning. To them, it represents embracing change and seeing it as positive and freeing. It represents strength, joy and bravery. The dragonfly is a creature of both the water and the air. The air in dragonfly tattoo designs signifies freedom.  Leading me to my new tattoo. (Circa 08/2017)

And ultimately my official logo developed.  I hope that it is slightly obvious that the abdomen of the dragonfly is a needle.
